Day 1: Travel Day
Arrive in Osaka via the Kansai International Airport. Use this day to rest up or take some time to explore the area.
KANAZAWA | 2 nights
Day 2: Shinkansen to Tradition, A Day in Kanazawa
Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Travel from Osaka to Kanazawa on the Shinkansen. Explore Kenrokuen Garden, one of Japan’s most celebrated gardens, with seasonal landscapes and historic design. Step into the past at a preserved samurai residence before walking through the traditional tea houses of Higashi Chayamachi.
Day 3: The Historic Village of Shirakawago
Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, DinnerTake a day trip from Kanazawa to Shirakawago, a village known for its thatched-roof farmhouses set against a mountain backdrop. Walk through historic streets, visit a traditional house, and see how life has been preserved in this rural setting.

Day 4: The Toyama Experience

Travel to Toyama on the Shinkansen, a quick one-hour ride from Kanazawa. Visit Toyama Castle Park and then explore contemporary and traditional glass art at the Toyama Glass Museum. Stroll the old merchant district of Suwamachi Street, and stop by a local sake brewery to learn about the region’s brewing traditions.
MATSUMOTO | 1 night
Day 5: Finally, The Alpen Route! Walls of Snow and Wonder
Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Start at Tateyama Station and take the cable car up the mountain. Hop on the Highland Bus to Murodo, where you'll walk through towering snow walls at an altitude of 2,450 meters! The journey includes tunnel buses, cable cars, and ropeways for a truly scenic ascent. After exploring Murodo, descend to visit the impressive Kurobe Dam before transferring to Matsumoto.
NAGOYA | 1 night
Day 6: Samurai Trails Through the Valley
Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Hike the scenic Nakasendo Trail from Magome-juku to Tsumago-juku, a well-maintained 8km path with gentle slopes and some steeper sections. It takes around 2–3 hours at a relaxed pace, making it a moderate hike suitable for most travelers. After the walk, visit the Seki Traditional Sword Museum to see master craftsmanship in action. End the day with a night in Nagoya.

Day 7: The Journey Ends
